On That note there are plenty of msp marketing programs that have the same philosophy that it’s best to stuff tons of marketing material that covers many categories like email marketing, SEO, Copy writing, face-to-face sales training, operations management, telemarketing scripts etc…

Many of the managed services sales training programs that have this broad catch-all approach can help a start up computer consultant get off the ground initially.  However is it always best to use a blunt universal instrument when a specialized tool might be readily available?

That is a very provocative statement, why do we suggest such a radical idea?

First consider that MSP Mentor, in a recent blog, has reported that successful managed services providers spend much more on marketing than the average computer consultant.
