			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The results are in from our first Client that has been using our <img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-189" title="1128001_794082821" src="http://visionconsultantsonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/1128001_794082821-300x241.jpg" alt="1128001_794082821" width="300" height="241" /><strong><a title="Telemarketing training" href="http://www.visionconsultantsonline.com/">telemarketing training </a></strong>and <strong>cold calling techniques</strong> for his <strong>computer services marketing</strong>.  Lantium decided to bring telemarketing in-house and found Vision Consultants Online and decided to engage our <strong>online sales training</strong> for his telesales reps.</p>
<p>Lantium, a managed services provider, called today and let us know they closed their first sale from the telemarketing campaign.  Vision Consultants was the only<strong> training</strong> they received and this has lead them to set over 40 appointments over about a 4 months period of time, of which 22 of them had taken a second meeting to review a proposal.<span id="more-187"></span></p>
<blockquote><p>The first sale will bring in 1424.00 per month and has signed a 1 year agreement.  The President of Lantium said that they feel their are lots of other prospect out of the 22 proposals that still might sign up but they will have to do more follow up.</p></blockquote>
<p>We talked with them at length about different strategy they might be able to employ to get these prospect to the 3rd meeting.  The president was very impressed with our <strong>telemarketing techniques</strong> that will have imparted to his telesales representative through our <strong>online sales training</strong> and our audio conference call training.</p>
<p>They will be implementing our follow up techniques to get the 3rd meeting and will can report back to everyone how many more sales they sign up after the follow up campaign.</p>

<p>That is a very provocative statement, why do we suggest such a radical idea?</p>
<p>First consider that <strong>MSP Mentor</strong>, in a recent blog, has reported that successful <a href="http://www.visionconsultantsonline.com"><strong>managed services providers</strong></a> spend much more on <strong>marketing </strong>than the average <strong>computer consultant.</strong></p>
<p>With that being said, where can an IT firm send more money on <strong>marketing</strong> and where can they get the money for the increase in spending?<span id="more-128"></span></p>
<p>Most <strong>computer consultants</strong> tell us their marketing comes from word-of-mouth or organic search engine <strong>marketing,</strong> along with pay-per- click.  Now you can&#8217;t really spend more money on word-of-mouth referrals nor can you seriously spend more money on organic search engine marketing.  Unless you hired a writer full time to crank out articles, which most have already taken that offshore, at a lower cost.  You can spend more on pay-per-click marketing but there is still only so many people in your region looking at <a href="http://www.visionconsultantsonline.com"><strong>managed services marketing</strong></a>.  So at some point you&#8217;re really going to reach a ceiling.</p>
<p><em>We suggest that you spend more on marketing by hiring a telemarketer and bringing <strong>telemarketing in-house.</strong> </em></p>
<p>Most <strong>managed services providers</strong> these days have outsourced the backbone of managed services operations to some of the big vendors like Kaysea or Zenith etc&#8230;   Depending on how many services you outsource  to your  infrastructure partner, you should be able to reduce your level of in-house techs.  We know many<strong> computer consultants</strong> are still holding on to most of their Techs and not outsourcing many features; but this should be reconsidered!</p>
<p>If you were able to shed some technical personnel that could free up some money in the budget to hire a telemarketing representative.</p>
<p>Of course, by bringing <strong>telemarketing in-house</strong> you could reach those prospect that are not looking for other services, yet!  They could penetrate to the prospects that are still opened minded and still haven&#8217;t heard of <strong>managed services </strong>yet.  To take full advantage and avoid having the <strong>telemarketing </strong>effort turn into a boondoggle; you will need to consultant with some experts in the field.</p>
<p>Once you have freed up some resources to bring <strong>telemarketing in-house,</strong> then consider using our<strong> <a href="http://www.visionconsultantsonline.com">computer consultant marketing </a></strong>online recruiting and <strong>telemarketing training.</strong></p>
